What's In My Bento Box: Leftovers for Lunch

Today, I had freshly steamed blue crab for dinner and since I also just bought some seaweed for making sushi I thought I could make something. This isn't a legit recipe..I kind of just threw some stuff together. When it comes to food I'm not really picky. Especially when packing for school or work because I am just soo hungry on my break I'll eat anything. I hope this inspires someone to not waste food and be a cheap-o like me!

You'll need: Seaweed, Bamboo mat for rolling the sushi, crab meat, tomato, and rice.

Combine the rice and crab meat. You can also arrange the meat in the center next to the tomato but I'm lazy haha

Carve out the center of the tomato and slice it into vertical strips.

Arrange the seaweed, rice, and tomatoes like so on top of the bamboo mat.

Roll it. Um, I'm not going to explain how to properly roll it..I just watched a YouTube video on it haha

Mine is a half sized so I was able to 5 pieces. There's fours in the picture but that's because I ate one hehe

This is my portion for work. I also included mango jello and trail mix.

This is what I am packing for school. That's an egg sandwich. It looks so uncute next to my cute sushi. :[

Ta-dah! The orange and foiled bread is mah breakfast.

*TIPS*
Remember to eat small meals throughout the day rather than spread out large portions!
Packing your own lunch is very cost effective.
Prepare your meals the day before rather than in the morning to save time!
