Hello! I wanted to share this lovely contraption with you all and it is an uncrustable sandwich press! Okay..I don't know what they're actually called but they are popular in Japan to make yummy sandwiches :)
I bought mine at a Marukai Living here in San Diego. It was sooo inexpensive too, about 2 bucks. It is also super cute and pink and has a heart!! ~
Many, like myself, are going back to school and many, like myself, are too cheap to play for expensive school food!!
What you will need:
Nutella, bread, strawberries & bananas
Of course you can get creative! Other fillings include cream, peanut butter, jellies, or you could even make a savory sandwich with meats and/ or veggies. Yum!
1) Set up half of your sandwich and place in the center of the base (white) of the press.
Make sure you align correctly so that the crust part is hanging over the edges
2) Place other half of sandwich on top and then place the top part of the press (pink)
The pink should be aligned so it fits into the white base accordingly.
3) Press down with all your force!!!!!!!!!!!!
The pink should lock into the white part and the crusts should be cut off leaving a sealed off sandwich
The end result
You can also make triangle shaped ones:
Too cute right?!?!
I HATE bread crusts so much, I always peel them off haha
That's all for now folks~
Until next timee :)
